V2V Module for Drupal 5.0

Drupal 5.0 is out and all i did was updating the V2V module. The latest version is in svn now.

svn co http://svn.v2v.cc/trunk/v2v-drupal-module/v2v/

should work with Drupal 5.0, give it a go and let me know of possible problems.

Democracy & V2V

Democracy Player works great with V2V.

subscribing to V2V is just a click away:
Democracy: Internet TV

note for Mac OS X users. your have to install Xiph's Quicktime Compontent
to play Ogg Theora files with Democracy Player. Download here

and now: video wikis

with CMML Wiki it is possible to annotate and index multimedia content the wiki way. its still in an early state of development, but looks interesting.
some sample content can be found at
http://media.annodex.net/cmmlwiki/
what about adding some clips from V2V to test it out?

Or what about a way to load a v2v clip including the metadata from the rss2 feed into such a wiki...

v2v debian/ubuntu packages

spend some time to build debian packages of v2vserver and v2v-upload-client

for ubuntu/hoary just add to /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://v2v.cc/~j/packages/hoary/ ./

and for debian/sid just add to /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://v2v.cc/~j/packages/sid/ ./

after that you can
apt-get install v2vserver or apt-get install v2v-upload-client

to start uploading you now need a password, feel free to ask for it.

v2v-drupal-modul

so now all v2v items show up as nodes in drupal, this is a big step forward!
