All V2V videos are encodec in Ogg Theora. A free and open source multimedia codec. If you want to encode video material using Ogg Theora, get the latest version of ffmpeg2theora, a command line application that works on Linux, Mac OS X and Windows.

Videos should be encode in V2V Preview Format, by selecting the preview preset:

 ffmpeg2theora -p preview video.dv


How to upload V2V video?
In order to upload your V2V encoded file to the V2V server ring, you need to install the V2V upload client on your local machine. You also need an account with upload permissions. you can find the upload client on the software page
